Retained
Searches
For higher-level positions, a retained search is generally the way to go.
This means you're specifically hiring us to fill the position for you. And,
we're guaranteeing that we'll find you the right person for the position.
The major benefit of a retained search is that we're working for you,
the client. This type of arrangement is much more focused on your company's
needs, which often makes for a better placement at higher, more critical
levels. Our fee is 30% of the base salary (or 20-25% of the base salary for clients of Case | Sabatini or CSD Financial). Because we will have increased
expenses for this type of work, payment is generally 30% of our expected fee up front,
another 30% in 30 days, and the balance upon placement. (However, much of
this arrangement is negotiable, considering the often sensitive nature of
this work.)

Contingency
Searches
For lower to mid-level replacements, many clients prefer contingency
searches. Under this scenario, we bill you only after our candidate
accepts an offer from you. Our fee is 30% of the base salary (or 25% of the
base salary for any clients of Case | Sabatini or CSD Financial). Payment in
full is due upon placement.

Assistance
with HR-related Functions
We can provide assistance in writing
policies and procedures manuals, job descriptions, and other
HR-related work. We also have considerable experience in
developing in-house intranet systems to effectively share HR
policies (and other information) with employees.

What We Generally Want to Know When
Working with You
In order to best serve you, we generally like to sit down with you to
discuss your company and your needs. We like to begin by discussing
your company itself: Where are you at now? Where are you going?
What's the culture like there? Beyond those things, we certainly need
to cover the basics as well: What position(s) would you like us to
fill? What's the job description? The educational and experience
requirements necessary to fill this role? The expected salary range?
The history of the position? The reason the previous person (if any) left?
As the saying goes, "Help us help you."
Important Policies for Employers to
Know:
- We always provide the most accurate
information known about job candidates. We will also never withhold
information essential to the hiring decision.
- We only refer candidates we believe fit
your needs particularly well.
- Confidential company information shared
with us stays confidential.
- We will always discuss our fees and
other important policies prior to offering candidates to a company.
- We will never recruit any employees away
from a Case | Sabatini or CSD Financial client unless the management of such company indicates that our involvement is acceptable.
- We will not re-recruit a candidate we
have placed in your company while he or she remains with your company.
- Our candidates are
well-vetted. We verify education and employment history, check
references, and conduct additional
background research.
- We base our fees on the candidate's base
salary only, not the total compensation.
- Our guarantee: If the placement
does not work out for any reason within 60 days, we will find you a
replacement at no cost.
