Claims
Specialist
Seeking a Claims Specialist on on
behalf of our client, a large contractor. This person is responsible for
handling the case management of injured workers. Essentially, you will
work with injured workers, insurers, and physicians/clinics to
facilitate proper medical treatment and return to work as soon as
medically feasible. Duties include collecting details/reports for all
accidents involving employee injuries, property damage, vehicle
accidents; obtaining accurate history of all injuries; developing
contact with employee, carrier’s case handler, legal counsel;
preparing/maintaining accurate records including accident report,
medical releases, drug testing records; participating with company and
insurer during quarterly claims review meetings; and other duties as
assigned. The client needs an organized person with strong computer and
customer service skills. Strong preference given to those with at least
2 years of similar case management experience in workers’ compensation
or disability management. Salary low- mid $30s for full time. However,
the client is also flexible and would be able to accommodate a

detail-oriented professional who can take charge and manage all
financial reporting and other relevant fiscal aspects of this growing
company. Previous accounting experience in construction, real estate
development, or a related field is highly desirable. Minimum
